Just because you have a fancy new Garmin® GPS gadget, that doesn't mean that MapQuest can't help you plan your trip! With the MapQuest® Send to GPS feature, you'll enjoy convenience of planning from the comfort of your desktop, and downloading locations or itineraries directly to your GPS device
How Does Send to GPS Work?
- First - you'll need to install the Garmin Communicator Plugin software, and simply plug your device into your computer from which you're planning your trip. Check our Send to GPS page for device and software requirements.
- After planning your route online, click on the Send to GPS link from the "Send" menu dropdown list.
- A pop-up window will appear after your computer locates your GPS device. For more details about compatible Garmin GPS units and how to access your MapQuest trip information, check our Send to GPS page.
